To justify the path of AR Extremists, Animal Liberation Front offers the following:
“The reality is that right-wing extremists have proven exceedingly violent and brutal in recent years, while animal rights and environmental campaigners have simply been extremely effective activists. Right-wing extremists might kill people, but animal rights and environmental activists hit corporate profits.”

………..and here, (below)–they brag about bankrupting the HLS corporation, and basically later state that their acts should not be considered illegal, as the acts might be rude, but not illegal.Â
They further mention that they are targeted by the federal government (DUH!)– but that because their acts are not terrorism,  they should not be targeted. [To me, this means because they claim to stick to more acts which are not necessarily physically targeting people, that means they are innocent of wrong-doing. When there is arson amounting in the millions, and one is burning down property which does not belong to him/her, it is still arson.] HLS=Huntingdon Life Science corporation
“In only three years, by means of secondary and tertiary targeting of companies investing in HLS that do not actually need HLS to remain financially secure, and by enabling the free-flow of information about actions conducted by other groups in a coordinated manner, the lab lost 90% of its worth as companies divested or cancelled contracts. Insurance firms will no longer cover HLS. Accounting firms will not do their taxes. All this has been accomplished by a simple understanding of corporate hierarchies, knowledge of the pressure necessary to isolate and discourage investment and the application of time, energy and the concerted activity of committed activists.”
See other posting on this site,  re FBI and court order granted against extremists in CA recently; also, see CA AB2296, which passed the CA assembly 4/17/08. The ARs are screaming about it. ACLU may address it if they feel the draft legislation needs tweaking or maybe elimination?
